1851 Establishment of direct sea line Tsarigrad (Turkish) – Varna
In 1851 with the support of the Turkish authority was established the first direct sea line Tsarigrad – Varna. There was ship arriving from Tsarigrad to Varna seaport every Friday. Seaport Bourgas was also part of the route.
